I recently had the pleasure of delivering the Red De Moda Spring Summer 26 trend presentation and I really enjoyed it.
There is something special about being in a physical room with people. After years of digital presentations and virtual meetings, standing in front of an engaged audience felt like a return to something important. You can read the room. You can feel the energy. You can have a real conversation.

For those curious about where the season is heading, here are some of the themes we explored.
Colour: Calm with Intelligence
SS26 colour is about restraint and confidence. Nothing shouty. Nothing desperate.
We are seeing soft neutrals with depth. Warm stone, sand, clay, chalk. Muted pastels like washed lilac, pale butter yellow, and powder blue. Sun-faded brights including tomato red, softened coral, and dusty turquoise. Earth-inflected greens such as sage, olive, and eucalyptus. And black and white returning as anchors, not statements.
The message is clarity over novelty. Colour is used to support product, not distract from it.
Print: Purposeful and Considered
Print in SS26 is quieter but more intentional. Less decoration, more meaning.
Key directions include abstract organic forms inspired by nature and movement. Distorted florals that feel intelligent rather than romantic. Soft geometrics and repeated motifs with rhythm. Placement prints used sparingly and deliberately. Texture-led prints that mimic craft, weave, or surface detail.
Print is no longer about filling space. It is about storytelling and restraint.
Silhouette: Relaxed Structure
The silhouette conversation in SS26 is one of ease with authority.
We are seeing relaxed tailoring with softened shoulders. Volume through shape, not excess fabric. Elongated lines and fluid proportions. Waist definition returns but in a subtle, wearable way. Dresses and separates designed for movement, not performance.
There is a strong move away from hyper-fitted or overly exaggerated shapes. Comfort and confidence coexist.
The Bigger Signal
Across colour, print, and silhouette, SS26 is signalling maturity.
This is not a season about shock or speed. It is about brands knowing who they are, editing with confidence, and designing with intention.
